Team ── The datatactics Team

Engineering out of passion.

A team in Germany that takes on hard problems with passion. You speak directly with the engineers who own your system.

Ansatz ── How we work. ── Four values you'll feel in the first conversation.
01 · Wert

Direct engineering contact

You talk to the person who builds your system. No account layer, no hand-off loop.

02 · Wert

Senior meets junior

Senior engineers bring depth and ownership, junior talent brings energy and a fresh view. Both work on the same code.

03 · Wert

Depth over breadth

We'd rather deliver few things really well than many things halfway. The focus is deliberate, not accidental.

04 · Wert

Committed to the problem

We stay on it, even when it gets ugly. What we ship, we run too — with SLA and support if you want.

What unites us in this team is a fairly simple thing: we love clean work on hard problems. When a system is complex, tightly regulated and operationally critical — that’s exactly where we want to be. Standard software hits its limits there, and that’s the playing field we picked.

We’re based in Germany, a mix of seasoned senior leadership and junior talent. All technically deep, all with the same standard: what we deliver has to work in real operations — not just in a demo. What gets us to our desks in the morning is the joy of seeing something run that actually solves a business problem.

Our depth has grown over years across three sectors: aviation (fuel management, dispatch, air-traffic data in 24/7 operations), cyber compliance in corporate security programs (DORA, NIS-2, ISO 27001 from a data perspective), and industrial data products (global APIs, ML operations, joint-venture platforms). Out of this combination comes our take on engineering: regulatorily serious, operationally reliable, without marketing gloss.

Agentic AI shows up in two places for us: in our own work, as leverage for a small team taking on big topics — and in the solutions we build for you, as a machine-to-machine service or with a user interface, with results that hold up in real operations.

The people behind datatactics.

Each with their own background and focus — connected by a passion for building and respect for hard problems. In the Tactical Assessment you’ll meet one of the people shown here directly.

“One question drives me: why do so many digitization efforts fail at the last mile — the point where the concept has to become a system that actually runs in production? datatactics is my answer: the team for the hardest stretches — operational data, audit-proof compliance, ML and Agentic AI solutions that deliver in the real world. Personal, accountable, and honest even when the answer is ‘we’re not the right fit’.”

Patrick
Engineer

Patrick

Fullstack development with a focus on cyber-compliance engineering and DevSecOps. Walks corporate security programs from a data perspective — from asset inventory and scoring pipeline to an audit-proof trail. DORA, NIS-2 and the Cyber Resilience Act are his daily reality, not just briefing material.

Agustinus
Engineer

Agustinus

Fullstack development with a focus on low-code application design. Builds interfaces and backends where business analysts can adjust logic, routes and templates without an engineering sprint — the pattern that turns months into weeks.

Alana
Engineer

Alana

Backend engineering with a focus on risk applications and their interfaces. Architecting and building the data flows on which risk assessments, scoring models and compliance reports run reliably.

Bernhard
Engineer

Bernhard

Fullstack development with a focus on UX for geodata-driven applications. Builds interfaces where maps, locations and routes are the core function, not a sidebar — from asset maps to real-time situational pictures.

Bryan
Engineer

Bryan

Backend engineering on the aviation team with a focus on data quality. Builds the services and validation pipelines that fuel, flight and movement data run through reliably — and makes sure bad data surfaces before it reaches 24/7 operations.

Iman
Engineer

Iman

Frontend development and DevOps. The bridge between user interface and the infrastructure it runs on — from React components to the GitOps pipeline that ships them.

Jurij
Engineer

Jurij

Data platforms and data products. Owns multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms, dbt lineage and MLflow operations on production-near data. From source system to productive API.

Miguel
Engineer

Miguel

Agentic AI in operational workflows. Builds AI agents that work in productive systems with clear decision boundaries and full audit trail — no standalone chatbots.

Nick
Engineer

Nick

Backend and databases. Deep-dives into data models, migration paths and query performance — the layer that gives every other application its speed.

Nico
Engineer

Nico

Frontend development and test engineering. Makes sure what lands in the browser doesn’t just look right but holds up under load and in edge cases.

Olaf
Engineer

Olaf

Consulting and marketing. Translates between customer pain, engineering reality and sales language — from first call and positioning through document design to talent acquisition.

Patrick
Engineer

Patrick

Fullstack development in direct contact with the customer. Turns requirements into shipped features — frontend and backend — and gathers feedback where it counts: with the people who actually use the product in the end.

Ryan
Engineer

Ryan

Fullstack development with a focus on product development. Takes features from first prototype to productive release — frontend, backend and the seams in between where an idea becomes a usable product.

Sam
Engineer

Sam

Machine learning on production-near operations data — from the telemetry anomaly to the productive prediction service with reproducible rollout. Moving ML from the notebook into 24/7 operations.
